Today we study Isaiah 1. Isaiah the prophet called his nation to account. They had become a nation by having high hopes of living by faith in God. But after 200-300 years in their own land they had slacked away from that faith and conformed to the religions of the nations around them. Their own faith lives became filled with hypocrisy as corruption abounded, widows and orphans were left wanting, judges cared for nothing but their own greed. It was time for a wake-up call!
You may not want to read it! But the wise person hears what God has to say. Today we look at “The Problem.” Looking at the problem opens the door to the solution. I hope to see you! God is good . . . all the time. Sunday School at 9:15 for all ages, and worship service at 10:30 am.
