Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the worship service The choir, along with storytellers JOAN BROWN, DUB GUTHRIE, EDELMIRA RUIZ, AND ADELMO RUIZ tell the story of Jesus’ birth from Matthew and Luke.
The truth of the matter is that Jesus was a planned pregnancy. In fact, he was anticipated for years. And even though Isaiah lived in a very divided time politically; though it was a stressful time economically; though enemies were pressing in on their nation, attacks unpredictable and destructive, Isaiah’s vision of this coming Savior brought him great comfort, peace, and joy.
This Sunday we let that joy spill over onto us. JOIN IN! And after the service ENJOY a POTLUCK. Just bring a dish to share and we will celebrate. “Tis the season to be jolly…” We have great reason to celebrate!
