Q: Do I need a PayPal account to give online?
A: You do NOT need to have a PayPal account. When you click the green “Give Online” button above, you will be taken to a page where you will type in the amount of your donation, then click either “Donate with PayPal” or “Donate with Debit or Credit Card.” If you have a PayPal account and want to use it, choose the first option. If you don’t have a PayPal account or don’t want to use it, choose the second option.
Q: What payment options are available?
A: Major credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Debit and bank cards are also accepted, as long as they have a Visa or MasterCard logo on them. If you use a PayPal account to complete the transaction, you can also give by eCheck using your linked bank account.
Q: There’s an option to check a box that says “Add $___ to help cover the fees.” What is this for?
A: PayPal is a service we use to accept payments online. This service is paid for with transaction fees which are accrued with every gift given online. If you check that box you are agreeing to pay the transaction fee in addition to your donation so we can receive your full donation.
Q: I would like to set up an automatic monthly donation. Is there a way to do this?
A: Yes! Click on the green donation button above, fill in the amount you would like to give monthly, then check the box that says “Make this a monthly donation.”
