March 1, 2009 – Calling All Who Are Hungry

Lent began this week, signified by our Ash Wednesday Service. Together we committed to  setting aside time each day to read our One Year Bible passages and pray. These commitments allow us to experience the profound blessing of drawing near to God. As we spend time reading about Jesus and talking to Him, we’ll find that faith increases.

This week in worship we join the disciples as Jesus gives them the task of feeding the 5,000. How would you have handled the call to bring what you have to Jesus? Can you imagine Him taking your small resources and making a huge miracle out of them? Come prepared to discover one of the greatest stories in the Bible. We will celebrate it with the feast of the Lord’s Supper. See you there!
