When you have a problem, have you ever had a friend or friends who urged you to take a certain action? Have you ever thought, because of a particular circumstance, that you needed to “take matters into your own hands?” What if you thought, “This is my big chance?” Whether you were urged on by someone or decided on your own to take action, as Christians what is the best way to make those kinds of decisions? David, who wasn’t the acting king yet, had an opportunity to move his career forward, and his colleagues urged him to take advantage. How would he respond? What values directed his decisions? That’s what we will talk about in worship on Sunday.
Sunday School is in full swing at 9:15 for all ages. If you have never been, or have not returned since COVID, consider trying it! Come for the study as well as the fellowship (and donuts!), and enjoy a good conversation. Worship is at 10:30, followed by Lemonade on the Lawn. NEXT WEEK: GLOBAL IMPACT SUNDAY! Invite a friend. I can’t wait to see you!
