I was sent to juvenile because I hit a man at my high school for embarrassing me in front of students by accusing me of something I didn’t do, calling me names, trying to restrain me, and then had the nerve to talk about my mom. So while I was sitting in my cell, it when through my head to pray, I promised God if He let me out, I would never hit another man again.
The next morning the warden let me out, because the police report they had didn’t make sense and they didn’t really know why I was in the cell. The cop and the guy I hit couldn’t get their stories straight. I am so grateful to God for hearing my prayer and giving me a chance. Prayer can work for anyone.
