9/16/18 – How to be Freed from Bondage

To say “how to be freed from bondage” is to make a brave statement. Does it pique your curiosity? Do you think fat chance? Would you prefer to sit this one out? I hope not! In fact, I would invite everyone to come to worship on Sunday to see what Jesus feels so strongly about; what Jesus offers us so freely. The question is, will we take him up on his offer?

The setting is quite strange. Jesus has cursed a fig tree! A day later, it is dead. The disciples are amazed. This is something extraordinary but for Jesus it is an average day’s work. Jesus says it should be status quo for us, too. How do we connect with Jesus on that level? Let’s talk about it in our series on Prayer. Worship at 10:30, with a POTLUCK afterwards. All are welcome.
