3/12/23 – Holy Acts of Service

This Sunday is the start of Daylight Savings Time! Saturday night, before you sleep, remember to set your clocks FORWARD one hour.

Join us for Sunday School, for all ages, at 9:15 AM, in the education building. There are currently two adult classes that meet – A Bible Basics class meets in the library, and an Inductive Bible Study class meets in the Fellowship Hall. Children and Youth classes are split between the Children’s Wing and the classrooms off the Fellowship Hall.

At 10:30 AM, join us for worship and to hear a message called “Holy Acts of Service” on Luke 10:38-42 from guest speaker, Hallie Spence. Hallie is an elder and the Director of Discipleship & Outreach at Woodhaven Presbyterian in Irving. Over the years, she has taught preschool and been involved with the children, family, and music ministries at various churches in Texas and North Carolina, where she found her calling to educational ministry. In May 2018 she graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Education. She has a heart for sharing Jesus Christ with people of all ages and will be giving both the sermon and a special message for young disciples AND those who are young at heart.
