8/15/21 – God’s Enemy is in Trouble from the Start

Years ago, there was a very famous line in a very famous series of movies, “May the force be with you.” Do you remember it? We all have within us a need for that sense of Providence–Obi-Wan Kenobi called it The Force. Christians know it is God with us. Actually, believers can rest assured God is with us, even when circumstances do not bear that up. This week begins a four-week series on the prophet Habakkuk. Habakkuk’s nation was struggling with threats and division. The socio-political pressure was so great that it caused Habakkuk to say, “Where are you God? When are you going to do something about this?” Do you seek the Lord in our own troubling times?

That’s the question for Sunday morning worship at 10:30. Sunday School begins at 9:15 for all ages. After the worship service join us for a POTLUCK Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. I can’t wait to see you!
