Sometimes God does something wonderful, even in terrible times. For Peter and the disciples who now had a new mission, life got tough. Great opposition to their message was a regular occurrence. Some died; some had to leave town; some were thrown in prison. Yet no matter how bad it got, miracles happened, and obstacles began opening up spontaneously. The disciples found out they were not in this alone. Yes, Jesus does not ask us to do anything that he is not willing to help us walk through. What are you willing to take a risk doing?
Sunday in worship Sharon Ingram shares about an upcoming FPCD Fall Bash for the community. That happens at 10:30, followed by Lemonade on the Lawn. Sunday School is at 9:15 for all ages. THINK TANK, the group which is organizing the Fall Bash, meets on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to be a part of it, join them! They would love to have you. See you Sunday!
