Sunday isn’t far away, and this Sunday we have a special guest speaker, Rev. Chris Lee.
Chris was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He is married to his college sweetheart, Brandy, and they have two beautiful daughters Erin and Jordyn. He was a nationally ranked junior tennis player and earned an NCAA Division I scholarship to Howard University, in Washington D.C. He finished his collegiate career at Johnson C Smith University in Charlotte NC, earning a bachelor’s degree in
Communications & Public Relations. In 2012, he received his Master of Divinity degree from Union Presbyterian Seminary. He also holds certifications in Executive Leadership from McCormick Theological Seminary and in Religious Fundraising from the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at Indiana University, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
His passion for biblical justice, outreach and community engagement is lived out in his longstanding involvement with local schools, non-profit organizations, community panels, and various community organizations. Chris believes that God has called him to live out a ministry that seeks to engage with Christ as Christ is working in culture, unafraid and unashamed in challenging the stats quo, welcoming strangers, and embracing the “tough” questions that culture, life, and Scripture present. Chris believes in working hard and playing harder!
We hope you’ll join us for this special time! He’ll be preaching from Ephesians 5:15-20.
