This week, we continue our Bitter & Sweet series with “Sweet Victory through Bitter Loss” from John 12:23-26. Jesus teaches that true life comes through sacrifice—just as a seed must fall to the ground and die to produce new life. In God’s kingdom, victory often comes through surrender, and the path to glory is marked by self-giving love.
Come and reflect on how letting go can lead to something greater. Worship begins at 10:30 AM—let’s seek the sweet victory found in Christ together!
Announcements:
Easter is almost here! Here are three things we’re working on, leading up to Easter:
1. Take Easter Eggs home today and fill them for the children! Easter eggs are due back on Sunday, April 13.
2. If you would like to purchase an Easter Lily in honor or memory of a loved one, please email Katherine at info@fpcd.org or fill out the form in the narthex.
3. Holy Saturday (Apr 19) Prayer Vigil sign-ups are open! Go to www.fpcd.org/prayer-vigil, or use the paper sign-up in the narthex.
Also, join us again this Wednesday from 5:30-7 for the next iteration of our Lent Study.
