We celebrate Memorial Day this weekend. We remember those who have given the ultimate–their very lives in defense of this nation. No gift is greater.
We have many opportunities and much to learn about giving in the church. It begins with the attitude. In terms of others, what is your attitude? Is it better for your favorite person? Do you care a little less when it is someone whom you do not know? Then your lifestyle standard is subjective. A subjective ethic makes you vulnerable to being tossed about when an adverse circumstance arises. Jesus teaches us in the gospel of Luke that to be generous and forgiving results in great blessing. I hope you will join us!
Sunday School is at 9:15 for all ages and Worship is at 10:30. Our hearts are broken over the recent tragedy in Uvalde, and Sunday’s worship includes a time of prayer for their community. Please plan to attend. Let us come together to lift our hearts in unity and love for these families and their entire community at this sad and difficult time.
