5/27/18 – Oh, the Freedom of Following Jesus! Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend we remember our Veterans, people who put their very lives on the line for our freedom. Have you thanked a Veteran? Do you understand fully what they have provided for us citizens of the United States?

Jesus talks about the freedom gained from believing in him and following his teachings. Some followers did not get it. They did not want to follow his teachings. Yet if we fully understand the Kingdom life he initiates, and we begin to experience his truth right now, we gain incredible freedom. It may confuse you, like it did the people in John 8. But at FPCD, we are open to questions. Enter into the conversation this Sunday. Sunday School is at 9:15, with donuts! Worship is at 10:30. The youth present interviews with our military. I can’t wait to see you!
