4/27/2025 – “More with Honey than Vinegar”

Hello friends! It’s the second Sunday of Easter, and Pastor Rachael is finishing up her sermon series “Bitter and Sweet” with a message from Acts 8:26-40. In this passage, Philip explains Isaiah 53 to the Ethiopian man riding in a chariot. Pastor Rachael’s sermon will be called “Bitter and Sweet”, and just like Philip joined the Ethiopian, we hope you’ll join us! Sunday School is at 9:15 and the Worship Service is at 10:30 AM.

Announcements:
-Sandwiches are due on Monday the 28th.
-Session meeting has been postponed; see a forthcoming email for details.
-Choir rehearses on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 PM.
-Men’s Fellowship meets on Saturday May 3 at 9 AM.
-If you wanted a yard sign to advertise FPCD, now’s the time! The signs are in the narthex and are $15, which can be placed in the offering plate or left in Katherine’s office.
