4/25/21 – Don’t Give Up the Ask

One thing about little children is that they are willing to ask. Have you been around a young child recently? Innocence drives children. You are big. They are small. You must have the help/food/toy/ability they need. So they do not hesitate to ask. Have you been shopping with a child who constantly asks for . . . well, anything! They have no problem with “the ask.” They are happy to persist.

So what happens between childhood and adult faith? Why is it so hard for us to ask and ask again? Jesus says “keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking.” That’s the topic for Sunday’s worship service at 10:30.

You may not realize it, but Sunday School takes place in person at 9:15. If you are interested in returning in person, and you want to bring your children, please let us know. We will resume their classes too. In the meantime, take a look at the following passages to be prepared for worship. See you Sunday!
