2/11/2024 – “Such as No One on Earth”
Welcome to our Youth Sunday! Youth Sunday happens on the second Sunday of each month, and we’ll have youth participants reading portions of the service, as well as a musical special from the cajon class! Rev. Rachael McConnell, our pastor, will be preaching a sermon from Mark 9:2-9, on the Transfiguration. Join us at 9:15 AM for Sunday School for all ages and at 10:30 AM, in person or online, for our Worship Service.After the service, Rev. Rachael McConnell and the youth will be serving pancakes! Please bring your favorite brunch dish to share.
Coming up this month:
– Lent begins this week! This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, and we’ll have Drive Thru Ashes from 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM, as well as a service at 7 PM.
– The Lenten book study begins on Wednesday, February 21, at 6 PM each week. If you would like to purchase a copy of the book “Have a Beautiful, Terrible Day” by Kate Bowler, contact the church office. The price is $15.
– The Men’s Fellowship will meet on Saturday, February 17 at 9 AM. Even if you don’t attend FPCD, all men are welcome to join!
