The Hidden Treasure – Our Greatest Possession

March 22 2020

Book: Matthew

Charles Dickens begins his famous novel, A Tale of Two Cities:  “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” Yes, March 2020 seems to be the worst of times, yet good is happening among us. It is the age of skepticism but for many, the epoch of belief. Life-as-usual has been turned upside down by COVID-19 yet we are given the strength of hope. One source of hope is worship at FPCD.

Church will go on at FPCD. It will look a little different. There’s no public community worship at the church building. You will participate from a different place–the comfort of your own homes. Join us online at www.fpcd.org/live-stream at 10:30 a.m. (Please be patient!) We will lead worship. A bulletin will be available for you to follow along with music and all the parts of worship you are accustomed to. You can participate with your family. Sing out! Pray! Have hope! God always makes the best of times out of the worst of times. He is our Hidden Treasure. Tune in on Sunday!
