Charles Dickens begins his famous novel, A Tale of Two Cities: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” Yes, March 2020 seems to be the worst of times, yet good is happening among us.

Times are very difficult for our nation. The elders and leaders of First Presbyterian have spoken regarding the challenges created by Covid 19 in light of the need to keep people safe and diminish the virus. At the same time, we need the church, worship, prayer, and the overriding wisdom of our Lord. Therefore, we as leaders have decided we WILL have the worship service at 10:30 but Sunday School classes for tomorrow are cancelled. Please use your own judgment in attending worship.
