As a father, it is easy for us to love the ones inside our house, but what about those outside of the household? On Father’s Day we talk about how the father loves his wife, kids, and parents, but what about the step child, a kid who lives down the street, or the one needing a father figure?

Like soldiers, Christians have a battlefield to fight on each day. It is our sole duty to spread the gospel and fight the Good fight of Faith until death. It is very important that we are armed and ready also, but how do you fight the Good fight of faith?

Have you ever ignored God’s instruction to help your enemies? Only God knows the real heart of others and He extends His love and mercy to all. Today’s sermon will discuss the story of Jonah and why it is important for us to use our gifts where God needs us.

Because we are the salt and light that God is using to save others, we need to be able to allow people to see God in our lives and not sell God to their lives. God is not a business model, but He is a savior that truly wants a relationship with His people. It doesn’t matter race, attitude, past, or mistakes made. This is what people need to know and see that God wants all of you.
