We all have heard “have faith.” We know we should have faith, but what, exactly, does that mean? How do we get it? How do we sustain it in tough times? What are its benefits? These are ancient questions which people have asked for years.
This Sunday we examine a story where Jesus addresses these questions in a difficult situation with a family struggling with a long-term illness. The disciples fail to help this family due to their own struggle with faith. It is quite an enlightening passage and will challenge us to look at–and grown in our own faith. Mayor Gordon will be visiting FPCD’s worship service at 10:30. A quartet will sing a wonderful arrangement of “Down to the River to Pray.” SUNDAY KOOL happens for children and youth at 9:15 sharp. It’s an exciting week! BE SURE TO JOIN IN. I can’t wait to see you!
