Sunday is graduation day. We will be celebrating this milestone in the lives of three of our young people. We will remember the importance of education in the family of God. God tells us to teach our children not only God’s laws but also the stories of how God’s children have walked by faith. We are part of that story. Sean Russell, DHS teacher and one of our elders, will share a testimony about the importance of education.
We also pray for our nation at this time of deep distress and immense turmoil; I hope you are praying each day. God, through Christ, is the only one who will get us through. Sunday we celebrate communion, so if you are joining us online, be sure to have your cracker and juice ready in order to join in.
Remember, “if we say, surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light around me become night,” even the darkness is not dark to our God; the night is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light to Him.” (Psalm 139:11-12) Cling to Him; He is in our midst. He will bring us through.
