January 25, 2009 – The Power of Good News

Do you ever see advertisements that seem too good to be true? What if you heard, “I’ve got good news for the poor. There’s comfort for the brokenhearted. Captives are released and prisoners freed. If you mourn, now is the time of the LORD’s favor. God will shatter your enemies, giving you a crown of roses for ashes, a joyous blessing for mourning, and festive praise in place of despair.” Wow, that’s good news indeed. Can it be true?

You have to look at Jesus and believe in His power. How do you do that? Come and hear the good news this Sunday at 10:30. He has good things for your life. Are you willing to accept it?
