8/18/13 – God’s Mercies Never End

2013-08-18 Worship from Duncanville Presbyterian on Vimeo.

Why do you go to church? Is it sort of the oasis place of the week? Do your spirits get lifted because you feel that you are touched by God and you sense God’s presence? Are you glad to go because you know God hears your prayers and you have full expectation that He will lift your burdens?

In this week’s story David finds himself to be a hunted man. He is desperate for food and for protection. So he goes to the temple. There in the sanctuary he finds not only real food and protection but also the spiritual strength and hope he needed to deal with life’s troubles. He found God all around him and it revived him. Are you in need of revival? Come to church on Sunday! 9:15 for Sunday School and worship at 10:30. POTLUCK LUNCH after worship. Be sure to bring a dish to share that serves 12. Can’t wait to see you!

READ 1 Samuel 21:1-6 and Matthew 12:1-8 Matthew 11:29-30
