6/9/13 – the Closet – Interview

The FPCD Youth group, aka, the Closet, would like to invite you to a fun-filled Sunday! We will honor our graduates (Ashley McGinnis, Courtney Hensley, Keanu Mahilum, Lucy Russell, Valerie Cordova, and Jessica Bayless, Jr. College)

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of our high schoolers? For example, how do they handle all the options, possibilities, struggles and victories of high school? There is the victory of winning the Homecoming game but there is also the sadness at the end of the season. High school is such an interesting time. A person ‘grows up’ mentally, physically and emotionally. Why would someone decide to follow Christ in high school and what exactly does that look like? What are some of the difficult challenges that God can help them overcome? The timeless principles that help us all in our walk with Christ also come to play in the lives of high school students.

This Sunday we will interview a few of our graduates during the service. We won’t be holding back as we’ve crafted difficult questions which will give us a ring side view of how the Lord is working in these students.

Also, this is a great opportunity for you to invite a friend or neighbor who wants to grow in their faith because after the service we will enjoy delicious cake together in the Fellowship Hall. We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
