11/4/18 – God Changes an Entire Nation through Worship

Perhaps the title of this week’s sermon catches your eye. It is a stunning thought. Think about a few campaigns that have changed our nation: The FDA’s (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) longstanding campaign for a low-fat diet changed America’s food habits. (Not sure it changed our weight for the better!) There have been other campaigns: seatbelts and car seats and smoking bans. They have been effective. But imagine changing a nation through worship of God! 

Times were tough. The nation of Israel had divided. The divided nation warred against themselves. Outside enemies regularly attacked. The church was shut down. But then Judah got a good king, and that king restored worship. Worship changed the nation. It’s an awesome story. Join us for worship at 10:30. Let it change you! Sunday School begins at 9:15.
